SATA4AGENTS Program Regulation

  1. General Terms and Definitions:
     
    1. O SATA4Agents is a SATA Azores Airlines loyalty program for Travel Agents that allows them to collect miles;
    2. “SATA Azores Airlines” comprehends the airlines SATA Air Açores and Azores Airlines;
    3. "Credits" are the miles awarded for travel on flights operated by Azores Airlines and on SATA Air Açores on the Funchal route;
    4. “Balance” is the total number of miles available for use on rewards;
    5. "Member" means a SATA Azores Airlines customer who has completed the SATA4Agents membership process;
    6. “Awards” means tickets issued with miles;
    7. The General Terms and Conditions of this program are also published in English, although for interpretation purposes, only the Portuguese version is binding;
    8. The Organizing Companies reserve the right to change these rules at any time without prior notice. Any new rules and/or changes to those currently applicable are binding on all Members from the moment they appear online. 
       
  2. Subscription:
     
    1. Joining SATA4Agents establishes the beginning of a contractual relationship with the Organizing Companies, ruled by these General Terms and Conditions, which define the rights and obligations related to this membership;
    2. All IATA and non-IATA travel agents can join SATA4Agents;
    3. Agents wishing to join SATA4Agents must complete the digital form available at Become a SATA4Agents member | SATA4Agents;
    4. The Organizing Companies reserve the right to decide on the admission of Members to SATA4Agents;
    5. The Organizing Companies may exclude a Member from SATA4Agents if the Member:
      1. Fails to comply with the present regulation;
      2. Provides false statements;
      3. Attempts to obtain benefits and awards by presenting false, improper, or abusive information;
      4. Behaves disorderly on board or on the premises of one of the Organizing Companies or Associated Companies, as well as insults, defames, or treats rudely any worker or employee of the same by any form or means of communication;
      5. Membership will be automatically terminated in the event of SATA4Agents inactivity;
      6. Fails to comply with the terms of the transportation contract granted by any SATA Azores Airlines airline;
    6. Members who wish to cancel their account must submit their request in writing, which will take effect from the date on which the Organizing Companies receive such communication;
    7. A Member who changes their Agency/IATA code must notify the Organizing Companies by email at sata4agents@sata.pt;
    8. Cancellation of membership or change of IATA code does not annul the miles accrued up to the date of cancellation. 
       
  3. Benefits and Awards:
     
    1. Agents who are registered with SATA4Agents and have their SATA Imagine account linked to their account will be eligible for awards;
    2. The awards offered under the SATA4Agents partnership with SATA Imagine and their conditions follow the SATA IMAGINE Regulation | Azores Airlines;
    3. In addition to these awards, others may be offered for limited periods, which will be announced through various media outlets;
    4. The awards and respective miles may be changed at any time without previous notice by the Organizing Companies, which will disclose such changes as provided in 3.3;
    5. Premium tickets are booked and issued through the Azores Airlines website (Login Profile);
    6. Since the Organizing Companies themselves provide services granted as awards under the SATA4Agents partnership with SATA Imagine, Members who benefit from these services have the same rights and obligations (as defined in the General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage) as all other passengers of the Organizing Companies. 
       
  4. Counting of Miles:
     
    1. Miles are the currency unit of SATA4Agents, in partnership with SATA Imagine;
    2. Each Member shall have a personal and non-transferable account;
    3. Miles cannot be exchanged for their cash equivalent;
    4. Miles are accumulated in the following ways:
      1. For each segment and Brand flown on a regularly scheduled Azores Airlines flight, 2% of the percentage (Fares | Azores Airlines) applicable to a SATA Imagine passenger will be credited to the respective Member's account, provided that an OSI with their PIN is included in the booking. E.g., PINS4MARIA;
      2. Miles are only accumulated on flights operated by Azores Airlines and on SATA Air Açores on the Funchal route after the segment has been flown. In certain situations, such as tickets involving other airlines and trips departing from outside Portugal, among others, miles may not be credited immediately;
      3. On personal trips, miles can be credited by entering the Agent's PIN and FQTV (SATA Imagine number) when booking;
      4. The Organizing Companies may carry out promotional activities that involve a temporary increase or reduction of the miles provided or offer them;
      5. Charter flights are not eligible for mileage credit;
    5. The Organizing Companies may, in complying with this regulation, make promotions available only to a limited group of Members. Members not covered by the promotions in question may not contest the benefits in question, and the Organizing Companies are not obliged to disclose the criteria for selecting the group covered;
    6. Promotions may be advertised and/or communicated to Members via email, SMS, and/or the website.
    7. Members must provide their PIN whenever they make bookings on their GDS, and before the trip starts. If the PIN is not provided or is entered incorrectly, a subsequent account entry will not be possible;
    8. The miles credited are covered by the SATA Imagine regulations (SATA IMAGINE Regulation | Azores Airlines). 
       
  5. Miscellaneous:
     
    1. By requesting the SATA4Agents membership, Members expressly authorize SATA Azores Airlines to use the data stored in the system exclusively for personalizing services, marketing, and communication. This data will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties except for other companies that become part of the Organizing Companies. All Members have access to their personal data and may update it and/or request its update by contacting sata4agents@sata.pt;
    2. Any Member who fails to comply with these regulations and other operating rules, misuses the awards, or attempts to obtain benefits by providing false statements may, in addition to compensation for damages resulting from such actions, have their account canceled;
    3. Awards obtained illegally or in violation of these regulations will be revoked;
    4. The Organizing Companies reserve the right to, at any time, change all or part of these rules, as well as terminate SATA4Agents, upon previous notice;
    5. Any changes or additions to these regulations will be binding on all Members from the date they are posted on the website Home | SATA4Agents;
    6. SATA Azores Airlines reserves the right to entrust the management of SATA4Agents to successor companies (in the event of corporate restructuring of its organizations) or to third parties, and to transfer contracts with Members to such successor companies or third parties for that purpose. Members will be informed in advance;
    7. The changes referred to in 5.6 do not require previous notice to SATA4Agents program members.
